Nuevo León moves freight to the United States by road and rail, with the Colombia Solidaridad crossing as a direct route to Texas and an industrial corridor that concentrates parks in Apodaca, Escobedo, Salinas Victoria, Santa Catarina and Pesquería. Since 2025 the Nuevo León Logistics Cluster brings together companies, universities and government to make that movement safer, more digital and better staffed. The Government of Nuevo León bulletin of September 14, 2026 reports that logistics contributes 10.1% of state GDP, generates more than 158,000 jobs and comprises 3,004 establishments. One year after its launch, the cluster gathers more than 30 member companies, universities and more than 20 strategic allies.

On May 19, 2026, Mexico Industry reported six committees: AI and digitalization; supply chain and logistics security; mobility and infrastructure; sustainability; human talent; and women leaders in logistics. It also reported three announced projects: a digital twin of freight mobility and transport, a sector diagnostic covering digital maturity, permits and certifications, and an AI-based CRM planned as a directory and bulletin board.
